Elle Celeste was founded by Trinidadian - born Elissa Arthur. She began in the production world in 2020, creating a blogpost photoshoot around Ole Mas characters. Location was a large focus for that project, which later served as catalyst for where it is today. From that project, she began working location management on video shoots and commercials, learning how to merge her creative mind and operations. This later influenced the way she would work on her own projects as she wanted to see the stories given the same art direction.

Born into a large family, Elissa loved hearing stories. Their way of storytelling was different, more enticing and stimulated her desire to share stories in her own voice and her own way. Elle Celeste is our founder’s very own personal keepsake box, protecting and carrying stories into perpetuity.
