Elle Celeste is a media company based in Queens, NY. The founder, Trinidadian- born Elissa Arthur, our work heavily influenced by her heritage. There are three areas under the Elle Celeste umbrella - external productions where we bring our clients’ stories to life ; storytelling by elle, our in-house productions that are focused on West Indian Stories; and provisions, our philanthropic initiative. With years of experience in operations and finance, our founder has been able to create a team that is able to effectively and efficiently match the processes surrounded around a successful production with the creative and overall story.

"From the mouths of elders to the ears of children" was one of the first things our founder, Elissa, wrote when beginning her collection of stories in 2020. This was the original foundation for Elle Celeste - spending time with elders, collecting stories, protecting them in our hearts and promoting perpetuity. Born into a large family, Elissa loved hearing stories. Their way of storytelling was different, more enticing and stimulated her desire to share stories in her own voice and her own way. The stories heard at family events, over dinner, and on the parlour when she visited home all showcase the true art of storytelling that can be seen in Caribbean stories.

Through the creation of these stories, she was able to expand operations and assist in the creation of our stories, opening up Elle Celeste to external productions.
